All Metal Hotend V5 for 1.75mm filament

-36% Out of Stock All Metal Hotend V5 for 1.75mm filament

Advantages:

  • It can print any material: From PLA, due to it thermical barrier made of stainless steel and its dissipation with forced ventilation, to Nylon, Polycarbonate, Polyoxymethylene y others thermoplastics which need higher temperatures. And also, as it is natural, it can print any kind of ABS, including high temperature ones.
  • Wear resistant: As it doesn't content Teflon or Peek it is extremely resistant.
  • Overheating resistant: The temperature limit is around 300 °C, limited by the thermistor, which has very low cost if replacement is necessary. This hotend won't get burnt!
  • High accuracy thanks to its 0.3mm tip with a minimum contact area.
  • Possibility of melting high speeds due to its metallic design and the possibility of reaching high temperatures.
  • Easy maintenance as it can be completely disassembled for cleaning in case of obstruction.

High quality body "All Metal":

  • Aluminum heatsink with "Groove Mount" type mounting.
  • Thermal barrier (throat) made of stainless steel.
  • Aluminum heating block with space for the heater and thermistor.
  • Copper nozzle for optimum performance.

It includes:

  • 3cm fan mount (colours may vary)
  • Ceramic heater coated made of stainless steel
  • 100K NTC thermistor wired with protection

Cool Pull or Atomic Method to clean the nozzle of our 3D Printer  Cool Pull or Atomic Method is a technique to clean the nozzle. It can be done after a jam, or as a preventive cleaning after a change of material or many hours of printing.  With the Atomic Method technique, we can extract residues and/or burnt particles of filament from the nozzle t...

How to Change the Nozzle

Our 3D printer, as every machine, needs a maintenance. One of the most basic ones is the change of the nozzle of our hotend. We may need to change it for several reasons, as for example, needing a smaller or bigger diameter (as bigger diameters are better for resistent parts with few details and fast printings and small diameters are better for sma...

The Hotend is the element of the 3D printer which function is to melt the filament.   The filament is introduced in solid state into one end and it is extruded by the opposite end in a controlled manner.  There are many different types on the market, but they all have three zones in common that we can identify as: Cold End:  It is the zone in char...
