General Terms and Conditions
These terms govern access to and use of HTA3D, as well as the purchase of products and contracting of services through our store.
Due to the technical nature of many of our products, these terms expressly distinguish between purchases made by consumers and purchases made by companies, self-employed professionals and other business customers.

2. Consumers and professional customers
The legal framework applicable to a purchase will depend on the capacity in which the customer is acting.
Purchase outside a professional activity
A consumer is a person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession, in accordance with applicable law.
Purchase connected with an economic activity
A purchase will be considered professional when made within a business, commercial or professional activity, including companies and self-employed professionals acting in that capacity.
3. Use of the website
Users agree to use HTA3D lawfully, in accordance with these terms, good faith and applicable legislation.
The website may not be used for unlawful activities, interference with its operation, unauthorised access to systems or data, introduction of malicious software or any activity that may cause damage to HTA3D or third parties.
4. Products, technical information and placing an order
The essential characteristics of each product are described on its corresponding product page. Due to the technical nature of many components, customers must check before purchasing that the product is suitable and compatible with their intended application.
Where a customer informs HTA3D of a specific requirement or compatibility need and HTA3D expressly confirms it, that information will form part of the specific conditions of the transaction.
Photographs, diagrams and graphic representations are for information purposes. Minor non-substantial differences in finish, colour, packaging or presentation may exist where they do not affect the agreed characteristics or conformity of the product.
HTA3D may reject or cancel an order where there is an objective reason, including an obvious pricing or description error, inability to supply, reasonable suspicion of fraud, legal or technical restrictions or any other circumstance that makes proper fulfilment impossible. Any corresponding amounts already paid will be refunded.
5. Prices, taxes and invoicing
The applicable price will be the price displayed and accepted when the order is placed, except in the event of an obvious error.
Taxes will be applied according to the destination, nature of the transaction, status of the purchaser and applicable tax legislation.
Intra-Community transactions, exports, deliveries to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or other territories with specific tax arrangements may be subject to different taxation rules.
Where applicable, HTA3D will issue the corresponding invoice using the information provided by the customer.
6. Payment methods
Customers may use the payment methods available during checkout, which may include bank card, bank transfer, PayPal or other payment systems enabled by HTA3D.
Card payments are processed through the corresponding payment gateway. HTA3D does not need to store complete bank card details in order to process the transaction.
7. Order preparation, shipping and delivery times
Orders will be shipped to the address provided by the customer. Shipping costs, destinations, services and estimated transit times are available in our Delivery Information .
Preparation and transport times are estimates. Unless HTA3D has expressly agreed in writing that a particular date is essential or contractually binding, an estimated transit time does not constitute a guarantee of delivery on an exact date.
This is without prejudice to any mandatory delivery periods and rights applicable to consumers.
Circumstances such as periods of exceptionally high demand, transport incidents, weather conditions, customs procedures, strikes, force majeure or events outside HTA3D's reasonable control may result in delays.
8. Transport incidents, damage, delays and lost shipments
If a shipment is lost before delivery, HTA3D will open a claim with the carrier and, once the loss has been confirmed or where otherwise legally required, will arrange the corresponding replacement or refund.
Where the carrier records a shipment as delivered but the recipient states that it has not been received, HTA3D will open an investigation with the logistics provider. As a general rule, HTA3D will await the reasonable outcome of that investigation before considering the shipment definitively lost, without prejudice to any mandatory rights of consumers.
Consumers
Where HTA3D has arranged the transport, the risk of loss or damage will remain with HTA3D until the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, except where otherwise provided by law.
We recommend checking the packaging at the time of delivery and reporting any visible damage to both the carrier and HTA3D as soon as possible, providing photographs of the packaging and product.
This recommendation to report damage promptly does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
Business and professional customers
Professional recipients must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt.
Apparent damage or shortages should, whenever possible, be recorded at the time of delivery and reported in writing. Non-apparent damage must be reported without delay and within any periods applicable under transport and commercial law.
Where road transport legislation applies, reservations concerning non-apparent loss or damage must be made within seven calendar days following delivery.
Professional customers agree to cooperate with HTA3D by providing photographs, packaging, labels, documentation and any other evidence reasonably required to pursue a claim with the carrier.
9. Incorrect address, absence, refusal and failure to collect
The customer is responsible for providing a correct, complete and accessible delivery address and for reasonably attending delivery attempts or collecting the shipment where required.
Where a shipment is returned because of an incorrect address provided by the customer, repeated absence, failure to collect or unjustified refusal, the actual costs of return transport, storage and reshipping may be charged to the customer to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Order cancellation
Customers may request cancellation before dispatch provided that preparation, manufacture, customisation, modification or specific procurement has not already begun and cancellation remains possible.
Consumers' statutory withdrawal rights remain fully applicable where relevant.
Personalised, custom-made, cut-to-size, specially configured products, or products covered by statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal, may become non-cancellable once performance or production has begun.
11. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer making a distance purchase generally has 14 calendar days in which to notify HTA3D of the decision to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason, except for products or services legally excluded from this right.
For the sale of goods, this period will generally begin when the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
Withdrawal may be communicated by an unequivocal statement sent to info@hta3d.com or through the procedure available on our Product Returns page.
Return costs and deadline
The consumer must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 calendar days from the date on which the withdrawal was communicated.
Unless HTA3D expressly states otherwise, the direct cost of returning the goods will be borne by the consumer.
Condition and handling of the product
The right of withdrawal allows the consumer to inspect the product; it does not provide a right to use the product freely for 14 days.
The consumer will be liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
For technical or delicate products, particularly electronics, excessive handling may include, depending on the circumstances:
- permanent installation or assembly;
- soldering or desoldering;
- cutting or modifying cables;
- removing protections necessary to preserve the product;
- assembly marks, scratches or damage;
- modification of firmware or hardware;
- productive or prolonged use;
- electrical connection or use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item.
Any depreciation will be assessed according to the actual condition of the item and the objective loss of value caused by such handling.
12. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal will not apply where any of the exceptions established by applicable law apply.
Of particular relevance to HTA3D are goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised goods.
Where they legally meet this definition, these may include:
- 3D printed parts produced from customer files or specifications;
- HPRO printers manufactured or modified according to a customised configuration;
- machines or equipment specifically configured for a particular project;
- custom-manufactured cables, assemblies or wiring;
- bars, profiles, sheets, rods or materials cut to dimensions specified by the customer;
- products expressly machined, modified or transformed;
- kits prepared according to particular specifications where they constitute a personalised product;
- any other item manufactured or adapted specifically for the customer.
13. Refund following withdrawal
HTA3D will issue the refund within the applicable statutory period using, unless otherwise validly agreed, the same payment method used for the original transaction.
HTA3D may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received or until the consumer provides evidence of having returned them, whichever occurs first.
Once the product has been received, HTA3D may inspect its condition in order to determine, where applicable, any objective reduction in value caused by handling beyond what was necessary.
Where the consumer expressly selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by HTA3D, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.
14. Returns by businesses and professional customers
Purchases made by companies, self-employed professionals or other professional customers within their business activity do not carry a general right of withdrawal or return merely because the customer has changed their mind.
Once an order has been confirmed, HTA3D will not be obliged to accept the return of goods that have been correctly supplied.
HTA3D may voluntarily authorise a commercial return on a case-by-case basis. Such authorisation is a discretionary concession and does not create any obligation to accept future returns.
Authorisation must be requested before sending goods back. HTA3D may make acceptance conditional on the condition of the product and deduct actual costs arising from transport, inspection, refurbishment, depreciation, damaged packaging or loss of commercial value.
Unless expressly authorised, professional returns will not normally be accepted for products that are:
- used;
- installed;
- opened or unsealed where this affects their commercial value;
- soldered, wired, configured or programmed;
- modified;
- manufactured, cut or personalised;
- specifically purchased or imported for the customer;
- ordered in special or unusual quantities to meet the customer's request.
15. Statutory conformity rights · Consumers
New goods sold to consumers are subject to the applicable statutory conformity regime. As a general rule, HTA3D is responsible for lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and becoming apparent within three years of delivery.
During the first two years following delivery, the statutory presumption concerning the pre-existing nature of a lack of conformity will apply unless that presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the nature of the lack of conformity.
Where a legally covered lack of conformity exists, the remedies established by law will apply, including repair or replacement where appropriate and, in the circumstances provided by law, price reduction or termination of the contract.
Measures necessary to bring the goods into conformity will be free of charge for consumers in accordance with applicable law.
16. Damage and circumstances not attributable to lack of conformity
Statutory conformity rights cover defects and lack of conformity affecting the product. They do not make HTA3D responsible for damage caused after delivery by incorrect use, installation, configuration, maintenance or handling.
Where it is established that the cause of damage is unrelated to a lack of conformity in the product, damage may be excluded from coverage where caused by, among other things:
- reverse polarity connection;
- use of an incorrect voltage;
- overvoltage, overcurrent or short circuit;
- unsuitable or out-of-specification power supplies;
- incorrect wiring;
- connecting or disconnecting components while powered where this is not permitted;
- electrostatic discharge (ESD);
- insufficient cooling or overheating;
- incorrect current settings for motors, drivers, heaters or other devices;
- incorrect firmware or incompatible configuration;
- unintended modification of firmware, software or hardware;
- soldering, desoldering, reworking or circuit modification;
- cutting, modification or unauthorised repair of the product;
- connector damage caused by mechanical stress, pulling or incorrect handling;
- impacts, falls, crushing or accidents occurring after delivery;
- water, moisture, condensation, contamination, conductive dust or chemicals;
- lightning, electrical disturbances or other external causes;
- operation outside manufacturer-specified temperatures, loads, speeds or other limits;
- use with incompatible or defective connected components;
- mechanical installation that subjects the component to improper loads or stresses;
- failure to perform required maintenance;
- normal wear resulting from use;
- any other external cause reasonably demonstrating that the damage did not result from a lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.
17. DIY products, installation and configuration
A significant part of the HTA3D catalogue consists of components intended for integration, assembly, repair or manufacture of equipment. Installation may require technical knowledge.
Warranty or conformity rights relating to a component do not, by themselves, include unlimited installation, design, configuration, firmware, calibration, integration, training or diagnostic services for the customer's complete machine.
A defective product may be covered, but a problem caused by incorrect installation, configuration or integration performed by the customer does not itself constitute a product defect.
This will not apply where incorrect installation is attributable to HTA3D or, in circumstances provided by law, results from defective installation instructions supplied by HTA3D.
18. Diagnosis and warranty procedure
Where a possible fault or defect arises, the customer must contact HTA3D and provide the information reasonably necessary to identify the problem.
We may request, among other things:
- order or invoice number;
- a detailed description of the problem;
- photographs or videos;
- machine or installation model;
- supply voltage;
- wiring diagram or description;
- configuration used;
- relevant firmware and parameters;
- reasonable and safe technical tests.
Where the documentation clearly establishes a covered lack of conformity or defect, HTA3D may resolve the issue directly without requiring the product to be returned first.
Where physical verification is necessary, the product must be made available to HTA3D for inspection.
Where a covered defect or lack of conformity is confirmed
HTA3D will assume the actions and costs legally or contractually required to bring the product into conformity.
Where no covered defect exists
If inspection shows that the product operates correctly or that the fault was caused by incorrect installation, handling, accident, wear or another uncovered cause, the matter may be treated as an out-of-warranty technical service.
In such cases, and where legally permissible, HTA3D may charge reasonable transport, diagnosis, repair and return costs, informing the customer beforehand where required.
19. Claims and warranties in professional transactions
Professional purchases are not subject to the special statutory conformity regime applicable exclusively to consumers.
The applicable civil or commercial regime will apply, together with any specific terms and, where relevant, any commercial or manufacturer warranty expressly offered for the product.
These terms do not grant any additional commercial warranty unless one has been expressly stated for the relevant product or quotation.
Professional purchasers must inspect goods immediately and report any issue without delay.
Where the commercial sale provisions of the Spanish Commercial Code apply, claims concerning certain defects in quantity or quality of packaged goods must be made within the corresponding statutory period, and claims relating to hidden internal defects within the statutory period applicable to such defects.
20. HPRO printers and equipment supplied by HTA3D
Where an HPRO printer or other equipment supplied by HTA3D has a covered defect, HTA3D may propose, according to the nature of the issue and subject to applicable statutory rights, repair, replacement of the affected component or another appropriate measure to restore conformity.
Where appropriate and accepted by the customer, an issue may be resolved by sending a replacement component free of charge together with the necessary instructions.
For professional transactions, unless on-site service has been expressly contracted, warranty service does not include travel by technical personnel to the customer's premises.
Subsequent modifications made by the customer, firmware changes, settings outside specifications, installation of third-party components, electrical or mechanical modifications and other alterations may fall outside warranty coverage where they are the cause of the issue.
21. Maintenance, wear and consumable items
Normal wear resulting from use and routine machine maintenance do not themselves constitute a lack of conformity.
Components that, depending on their use, may be subject to wear or maintenance include:
- nozzles;
- PTFE tubes;
- printing surfaces and sheets;
- belts;
- bearings and linear motion components;
- fans;
- heating elements;
- gears and parts subject to friction;
- other components whose service life depends on operating hours and conditions.
Classification of an item as a consumable or wear component does not exclude a manufacturing defect or legally recognised lack of conformity.
22. Technical support and additional services
Assistance necessary to remedy a covered lack of conformity will be provided in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Configuration enquiries, training, commissioning, integration, design, optimisation, diagnosis of third-party equipment or extended support unrelated to a covered defect may constitute chargeable technical services.
Where applicable, HTA3D will inform the customer in advance of the nature and cost of the service.
23. 3D printing and customised manufacturing services
Where the customer supplies STL, STEP or CAD files, drawings, dimensions, geometries or manufacturing instructions, HTA3D will manufacture the parts according to the accepted documentation and quotation conditions.
Unless a design, engineering or validation service has been expressly contracted, the customer is responsible for:
- the geometry and design of the supplied file;
- the specified dimensions and tolerances;
- suitability for the intended use;
- compatibility with other components;
- the strength or performance required for the intended application;
- having the ownership or necessary authorisation to manufacture the design.
An error contained in a file or specification supplied by the customer does not constitute a manufacturing defect attributable to HTA3D where the part has been correctly produced according to that documentation.
Tolerances inherent to the manufacturing process, material and technology used will be those agreed or, where no particular specification exists, those reasonably customary for the process contracted.
24. Cut-to-size, machined or custom-sized products
Where a product is cut, machined, drilled, prepared or otherwise transformed according to dimensions or instructions provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for checking those specifications before confirming the order.
Once transformation has begun, the order may not be cancelled unless HTA3D expressly agrees otherwise.
Where such goods legally constitute goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised goods, they will be excluded from the right of withdrawal.
25. Special orders, large quantities and imports
In professional transactions, products ordered, manufactured, reserved or imported specifically for a customer may be subject to firm, non-cancellable and non-returnable order conditions.
This is particularly applicable to:
- large quantities purchased specifically for the customer;
- references not normally held in stock;
- specific imports;
- products manufactured to order;
- special configurations;
- modified, cut or customised products;
- orders placed with a supplier specifically to fulfil the customer's request.
HTA3D may require full or partial advance payment before procurement or manufacturing begins.
26. Customs, import taxes and international shipments
Where applicable, orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, clearance charges or other amounts imposed by the authorities of the destination country.
Where such amounts are not expressly included in the price charged by HTA3D, they will be the responsibility of the recipient.
The customer is responsible for providing any information or documentation reasonably required by authorities or the carrier to complete import formalities.
If the recipient unjustifiably refuses the shipment or fails to comply with customs obligations for which they are responsible, actual transport, return, customs, storage or administration costs may be deducted from any recoverable amount to the extent legally permitted.
27. Limitation of liability in professional transactions
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, HTA3D's liability towards professional customers is limited to obligations directly related to the products and services contracted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HTA3D will not be liable to professional customers for indirect or consequential losses, including:
- loss of profit;
- loss of earnings;
- loss of production;
- machine or production line downtime;
- staff costs;
- loss of contracts or customers;
- penalties assumed towards third parties;
- loss of opportunity;
- loss or corruption of data;
- costs arising from logistical delays;
- losses arising from use of the product in undisclosed critical systems.
Professional customers must adopt reasonable contingency, maintenance, spare-parts and backup measures appropriate to the criticality of their operations.
28. Circumstances outside HTA3D's reasonable control
HTA3D will not be liable for failure or delay caused by unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances outside its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These circumstances may include serious transport disruption, natural disasters, conflicts, general strikes, prolonged supply interruptions, administrative restrictions, exceptional customs incidents or widespread infrastructure failures.

31. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law and directly applicable European Union legislation.
Consumers: any dispute will be submitted to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction under the mandatory rules governing consumer protection and territorial jurisdiction.
Businesses and professional customers: HTA3D and the customer express their preference for the Courts and Tribunals of Málaga. Such submission will only be effective where a valid agreement establishing jurisdiction may be entered into under applicable procedural law, including, where necessary, an individually negotiated agreement.
Where such submission is not legally valid, the applicable statutory rules on territorial jurisdiction will apply.
32. Specific conditions and amendments
Certain quotations, projects, customised machines, special orders or services may be subject to specific conditions.
In the event of any conflict, specific conditions accepted for a particular transaction will prevail over these general terms to the extent specifically agreed and legally valid.
HTA3D may update these terms to reflect regulatory, technical, commercial or operational changes.
