We turn your idea, sketch or reference into a 3D model prepared for additive manufacturing. This service is suitable when you need a custom part but do not yet have the digital file required to produce it.
What information can you send us?
- Sketches or drawings with the main dimensions.
- Photographs and visual references.
- Dimensions, mounting points and mating components.
- The intended use and functional requirements of the part.
- An existing file if it needs to be corrected or adapted.
The more complete and accurate the initial information is, the easier it will be to define the geometry and avoid incorrect assumptions. Photographs alone cannot guarantee accurate dimensions.
Designed with 3D printing in mind
The model is developed while considering its subsequent manufacture, including wall thickness, joints, orientation and delicate areas. The delivery format, included modifications and exact scope will be defined in the quotation.
Modelling, product design and manufacturing
This service focuses on creating or adapting the 3D file. For projects that also require the development of the product’s operation, architecture or overall manufacturing feasibility, please see our product design service.
Once the model has been approved, we can also assess its manufacture through our 3D printing service. Printing is not included unless specifically stated in the accepted quotation.
