10-piece rod kit for JS plotter - M8 threaded and 8 mm smooth rods

Set of 10 cut-to-size rods for building the open-source JS plotter used as HTA3D's reference. It combines M8 threaded structural rods with calibrated 8 mm stainless-steel smooth rods.

Kit contents

The smooth rods are stainless steel and suitable for LM8UU linear bearings for 8 mm shafts. Their ends are supplied deburred with the sharp edges removed.

Compatibility

This kit follows the reference JS plotter dimensions. As this is an open DIY project, check the bill of materials for your particular version before ordering: changes to the working area or frame may require different lengths.

Lengths are nominal. Manual cutting may leave a rod approximately 1 mm longer, but not shorter than the stated dimension.

This product is for you if

• You are building the JS plotter version that uses this exact combination of diameters and lengths.
• You want the rods supplied cut and deburred.

This product is not for you if

• Your design changes the usable area, frame or support positions.
• You also need bearings, nuts, supports or other components; these are not included.
