Designed to connect a stepper motor shaft to a lead screw, this 5 mm to 5 mm flexible shaft coupling helps compensate for minor shaft misalignment while maintaining smooth and consistent power transmission.

Manufactured from aluminium, it combines low weight with good mechanical strength, making it a common choice for the Z axis of FDM 3D printers and other linear motion systems. Its flexible design helps reduce unnecessary stress on bearings, motors and lead screws caused by slight alignment imperfections.

Key Features

  • Flexible aluminium shaft coupling.
  • 5 mm to 5 mm bore.
  • Designed for 5 mm motor shafts and lead screws.
  • Compensates for minor shaft misalignment.
  • Suitable for smooth Z-axis motion.

Technical Specifications

  • Material: Aluminium.
  • Bore diameter: 5 mm × 5 mm.
  • Length: 25 mm.
  • Outer diameter: 20 mm.

Recommended Applications

  • FDM 3D printer Z axes.
  • Light-duty CNC machines.
  • Linear motion systems.
