A set of printed parts for building, repairing or restoring a classic RepRap Prusa i3. The kit retains the historical architecture of Josef Prusa's design while using parts adapted for GT2 belt transmission and a geared Wade-style extruder with a groove-mount hotend interface.

The photographs show two pulley constructions: a classic two-half model that must be joined correctly and a one-piece model into which the bearing is press-fitted. Check the supplied batch if you require a specific variant or quantity of small parts.
What must be checked
The Prusa i3 name was used for many community machines with significant differences. Even classic designs vary between single-plate frames, box-style frames and other derivatives. Before ordering, compare:
- Frame type, thickness and mounting points.
- Smooth-rod diameter and spacing.
- Z lead screws or threaded rods and nut geometry.
- Linear bearings, X carriage and their retention method.
- GT2 belt, 6 mm width, fastening points and alignment.
- Motors, pulleys, endstops and hardware.
- Filament diameter, extruder body and hotend groove mount.
If you need a specific extruder version for 1.75 or 3 mm filament, contact us before ordering because this option is not separately identified in the current listing.
Not included
This product contains printed parts. It does not include the frame, rods, lead screws, motors, bearings, belts, drive pulleys, hardware, bed, electronics, power supply, wiring, hotend or fans unless a commercial option explicitly states otherwise.
The colour shown is illustrative and may vary with availability. The printing material must not be inferred from the colour in the photographs.
Installing the parts
- Insert nuts and bearings progressively while supporting the part close to its housing.
- Do not force a rod or bearing when its diameter or alignment does not match.
- Tighten screws gradually to avoid splitting printed layers.
- Align pulleys and belts before applying tension.
- Check that 623ZZ pulleys rotate freely and that two-part bodies are securely joined.
- Manually check full axis travel before powering the motors.
This product is for you if
- You are restoring or building a classic-architecture RepRap Prusa i3.
- You can compare the kit with the drawings, photographs or parts from your revision.
- You need a set prepared for GT2 transmission and a traditional geared extruder.
This product is not for you if
- You need parts for a current Original Prusa printer or Nextruder.
- Your machine is a P3Steel, wooden-frame build or another derivative with dedicated parts.
- You require a complete mechanical kit including bearings, hardware, motors and electronics.
The printed pulley bodies can be completed with a 3 × 10 × 4 mm 623ZZ bearing. For a classic transmission specifying this format, see the 6 mm open-ended GT2 belt. Always confirm the required quantities and lengths in the documentation for your exact machine.
