6 mm GT2 timing belt, manufactured from neoprene and internally reinforced with fiberglass cords to limit stretching during operation.
Its 2 mm-pitch profile is commonly used in FDM 3D printers, light-duty CNC machines, laser engravers and other linear positioning systems. It is supplied open-ended so that it can be cut to the length required by each mechanism.

Compatibility
It is compatible with 2 mm-pitch GT2 pulleys designed for 6 mm belts, including the GT2 16T drive pulley with a 5 mm bore, GT2 20T drive pulley with a 5 mm bore and GT2 16T toothed idler with a 3 mm bore.
Its dimensions can suit many Creality Ender 3, CR-10 and RepRap or Prusa i3-derived printers using an open-ended 6 mm GT2 belt. Check the required length, fastening system and exact machine version.
It may also dimensionally suit certain CoreXY mechanisms. For Voron machines and other high-performance equipment, follow the bill of materials: sharing the same profile and width does not make a generic belt automatically equivalent to a specified Gates or other branded reference.
Which belt should be selected?
This version is a functional option for basic assemblies, repairs and custom projects. For improved surface wear resistance, consider the wear-resistant 6 mm GT2 belt.
When a branded component is preferred, see the conventional 6 mm POWGE GT2 belt. For applications where reduced vibration and dust generation are priorities, consider the 6 mm POWGE RF GT2 belt.
A higher-grade belt cannot correct a misaligned, seized or incorrectly tensioned pulley.
Installation and firmware
- Do not bend the belt through sharp angles.
- Do not twist or crush the internal reinforcement.
- Align the pulleys before applying tension.
- Prevent permanent rubbing against flanges or brackets.
- Use fastening points that do not cut the internal fibres.
- Apply only enough tension to remove unwanted play.
Replacing a belt with another belt of the same profile and pitch while retaining the same pulleys does not itself alter Marlin steps per millimetre or the rotation distance configured in Klipper or RepRapFirmware.

Each unit corresponds to 1 metre. Multiple units are supplied as one continuous length whenever possible.
