The HANPOSE 895-200W is a brushed DC motor in the larger 895 housing, with dual ball bearings and a double shaft, intended for building spindles for small CNC machines and bench tools. Compared with the 775 models in this family it has lower declared speed and a higher torque figure: 3,000rpm at 12V, 6,000rpm at 24V and 0.98N·m in the manufacturer's family table.

Its 5 × 16mm round front shaft accepts a compatible chuck or collet adapter. The 895 body may suit mechanisms prioritising lower-speed load margin, provided the mount accepts its size and mass and the complete transmission is correctly engineered.

Torque and 200W are declared values with unspecified test conditions. Do not combine them with no-load rpm to infer continuous output or guaranteed machining capability.

Controller, supply and protection

Use a brushed-DC motor controller rated for the selected voltage, running current and startup/stall transients. A CNC PWM or enable output may command that controller, but must not carry motor current directly.

The 12V 33A supply or 24V 25A supply may be considered after checking controller, transients, other loads, wiring, terminals and fuse. PWM soft start reduces initial stress; detect and avoid a stalled shaft.

Mechanical installation

  1. Check clearance, airflow and mount rigidity before selecting the 895 housing.
  2. Use the appropriate mounting pattern without driving screws beyond a safe depth.
  3. Fit a balanced 5mm-shaft chuck or collet rated for the intended speed.
  4. Guard the rear shaft, terminals and exposed rotating components.
  5. Test without a cutter at low PWM and stop on excessive runout, vibration, noise or heat.

Polarity sets direction. Reverse only with power removed and after ensuring the tool holder cannot loosen in that direction.

Applications and limits

It may be integrated into light CNC machines, compact sanders, small drill stands and special mechanisms. Actual material capability depends on cutter, rpm, feed, depth, rigidity, play, cooling and chip evacuation. Metal, glass and demanding work require a purpose-built process and machine; the 895-200W label alone does not guarantee the result.

If small-tool speed is the priority, the HANPOSE 775 288W has a higher declared speed. For lighter work see the HANPOSE 775 80W.

Cooling and EMI

  • Keep airflow openings clear and monitor temperature during initial sessions.
  • No continuous duty cycle is documented; do not assume indefinite full-load operation.
  • The fan cools less at low speed, so avoid prolonged high load at low rpm.
  • Separate power wiring from probes, endstops and USB; twist the pair and add suitable suppression if electrical noise appears.
  • Remove power before touching terminals or changing tools.

It is for you if

  • You want the 895 housing and prioritise lower-speed load margin over maximum rpm.
  • Your machine has enough space, a rigid mount and suitable airflow.
  • You can complete the system with controller, supply, fuse, tool holder and guarding.

It is not for you if

  • You need a complete electrospindle, integrated collet, certified runout or guaranteed continuous output.
  • Your bracket only fits a 775 body or the mounting pattern has not been checked.
  • You intend to connect it directly to a board, mains or a supply without a controller.

Package contents

  • 1 × HANPOSE 895-200W DC motor.

Mount, chuck or collet, controller, power supply, wiring, fuse, guard and tool are sold separately.

Safety: do not connect to 110/230V AC. Use eye protection, guarding, suitable extraction and an emergency stop. Check the maximum rated speed of every accessory.
