Compatibility

It can replace another 4010 24V axial fan when the dimensions, mounting-hole pattern, available thickness, cable position, connector and polarity all match.

The 4010 format defines nominal dimensions of 40 × 40 × 10 mm but does not guarantee compatibility with every bracket. It must not be confused with a 4010 centrifugal blower, which has a different casing and outlet direction.

Installation

Confirm that the output supplies 24V and check the polarity before connection. Even when the connector fits physically, wire order can differ between manufacturers and machines.

When using PWM control, configure a minimum setting that allows the fan to start reliably. When cooling a hotend heatsink, continuous airflow is normally advisable whenever the hotend may reach an elevated temperature.
