This GDSTIME 4020 centrifugal blower is designed for 12 V systems. Its impeller draws air through the circular inlet and directs it through a lateral outlet, making it suitable for 3D-printer part-cooling ducts, small electronic equipment and projects requiring concentrated airflow.
Unlike an axial fan, this blower directs airflow sideways and is intended to operate with a compatible nozzle or air duct. Before replacing another fan, check the voltage, dimensions, outlet position, mounting points and available installation space.

Compatibility
Electrically compatible with systems providing 12 V DC and capable of controlling a load of approximately 0.12 A. It must not be connected directly to a microcontroller logic pin; use a suitable fan output, MOSFET or controller.
The 4020 designation describes nominal dimensions of 40 × 40 × 20 mm, but it does not guarantee that every 4020 blower has the same outlet geometry or mounting points. Check the drawing, orientation and air duct before replacing another model.

Centrifugal or axial fan
A centrifugal blower directs air through a lateral outlet and is generally better suited to nozzles requiring concentrated airflow. For applications requiring straight airflow through the fan, the 4020 12 V axial fan may be more suitable. Although their general dimensions are similar, they are not mechanically interchangeable.
When a larger outlet is required, consider the 5015 12 V centrifugal blower, checking its power consumption, mounting arrangement and air duct beforehand.
Connection and installation
- Confirm that the power supply provides 12 V DC before connecting the fan.
- The product uses red and black wiring; verify polarity before applying power.
- The images do not confirm a specific connector model, so the correct connector for the machine may need to be installed.
- Do not obstruct the circular inlet or lateral outlet.
- Prevent cables, screws and filament debris from contacting the impeller.
- Secure the fan without deforming its housing.
- Check the airflow direction after installation.
