T8×8 trapezoidal POM nut designed to convert the rotation of an 8 mm lead screw into linear movement. Its four-hole flange allows mounting on Z axes, actuators, 3D printers and small CNC machines designed for this geometry.
POM offers low friction and behaves differently from a brass nut. It may provide smooth and quiet movement, but it is not a universal upgrade: suitability depends on load, speed, temperature, lubrication and system design.
Specifications
- Thread type: T8×8.
- Nominal lead-screw diameter: 8 mm.
- Lead: 8 mm per revolution.
- Nominal pitch: 2 mm.

- Circular flange with four mounting holes.
Nominal mounting dimensions
- Flange outer diameter: 22 mm.
- Body outer diameter: approximately 10.2 mm.

These measurements come from the reference drawing included in the gallery. Check the supplied unit before manufacturing a close-tolerance housing.

Compatibility
Compatible with the T8×8 8 mm trapezoidal lead screw and other lead screws matching its diameter, pitch, lead and number of thread starts.
It is not compatible with the T8×2 lead screw. Sharing an 8 mm diameter does not guarantee thread compatibility.
Firmware configuration
With a 200-step motor and an 8 mm lead:
- 1/16 microstepping: 400 steps/mm.
- 1/32 microstepping: 800 steps/mm.
In Klipper, rotation_distance: 8 can be used as a mechanical starting value. Marlin and RepRapFirmware must use the corresponding steps-per-millimetre value, followed by an actual travel check.
Package contents
- 1 T8×8 POM trapezoidal flange nut.
