235 × 235 mm Flexible Steel Sheet with PEI on Both Sides

Flexible spring-steel sheet for a magnetic build plate, coated with PEI on both sides. Its 235 × 235 mm format is intended for 3D printers using a compatible magnetic base of this size.

Both sides can be used: one has a textured finish and the other a matte finish. Choose the surface that best suits the desired result and filament.

Features

  • Nominal size: 235 × 235 mm.
  • Base material: flexible spring steel.
  • Coating: PEI/Ultem on both sides.
  • Approximate thickness: 0.4-0.5 mm.
  • Colour: amber.
  • Surfaces: one textured side and one matte side.
  • Use: compatible magnetic 3D-printer beds.

Reference temperatures

As a usage reference, the manufacturer indicates approximately 60 °C for PLA and HTPLA, 70-80 °C for PETG and PCTG, and 100 °C for ABS. These values are guidelines: adjust them to the printer, filament and part geometry.

Use and part removal

Place the sheet on a compatible, clean and flat magnetic base. Set the first layer carefully, since excessive nozzle proximity can make the material stick too strongly and damage the surface.

Wait until the sheet reaches room temperature, preferably below 30 °C, before removing the part. Flex the steel gently to release the model. Removing parts while the surface is still hot increases the risk of damage.

Cleaning, levelling, temperature and filament all affect adhesion. If a protective layer is needed, a light application of a surface-compatible hairspray may be considered.

Compatibility

Nominal size alone does not guarantee compatibility. Check that your printer uses a magnetic base and accepts a 235 × 235 mm sheet without interfering with the frame, clips, sensor or toolhead movement.

You can also see other sizes in this family, such as the 220 × 220 mm, 300 × 300 mm, 350 × 350 mm and 241 × 254 mm sheets.
