High-power 24 V switching power supply for electrical systems with substantial current requirements. The unit label specifies a maximum current of approximately 33.3 A, equivalent to about 800 W, with an extruded aluminium enclosure and active cooling.

Applications and sizing

It may be integrated into large-format 3D printers, CNC systems, automation and other high-power 24 V equipment. Consumption must be calculated by adding every load that may operate simultaneously while retaining suitable electrical and thermal margin.

Available current does not force components to consume 33 A; each load draws the current it requires. However, a supply of this capacity can deliver very high fault current, making distribution and branch fusing especially important.

Safe installation

Lower-power alternative

If the calculated load does not require this capacity, the 24 V, 25 A and 600 W compact power supply may be more appropriately sized. Selection should be based on actual demand rather than always choosing the highest available rating.

EQUIPMENT START UP:

  1. Check that the mains voltage matches the input selected for the source (110/220v)
  2. Connect the power supply to the mains to check the output voltage (12/24v)
  3. The output voltage is adjustable, if it differs from the one you want for your application you can turn the regulator, preferably with the equipment off. Never use a metal screwdriver with the equipment on to make this adjustment.
  4. (Depending on the model) This power supply has a regulated fan, it will turn when it has load, check periodically and in the first use that the fan is activated correctly.
