Fresa 3D GT2 80-tooth pulley for 6 mm belts, made of aluminium alloy and designed to mount on a 5 mm shaft with two grub screws.
Its large diameter is particularly useful as a driven pulley in belt reductions, rotary axes, CNC mechanisms, robotics and projects requiring increased mechanical resolution.

Possible reduction ratios
- With a 20T drive pulley: theoretical 4:1 reduction.
- With a 16T drive pulley: theoretical 5:1 reduction.
A 4:1 reduction makes the output pulley complete one revolution for every four motor revolutions. It theoretically multiplies available resolution and torque by four, although mechanical losses reduce the actual result.
Installation and compatibility
It is compatible with 6 mm GT2 belts, including our standard fibreglass-reinforced GT2 belt and wear-resistant coated GT2 belt.
The Ø5 mm bore allows installation on a shaft of the same size. Tighten both grub screws progressively and check that the pulley remains perpendicular to the shaft without wobble.
It can be paired with a 20T drive pulley such as the POWGE 20T pulley for 6 mm belts or a 16T pulley such as the POWGE 16T pulley for 6 mm belts, provided that the design allows mixed brands and the alignment and tooth profile match.
Do not automatically treat it as equivalent to the POWGE 80T pulley. Even when the main dimensions match, overall width, hub, flanges and project quality requirements must also be checked.
Firmware configuration
As a direct drive pulley, the theoretical travel would be:
80 teeth × 2 mm = 160 mm per revolution
With a 1.8° motor and 16 microsteps, this would correspond to 20 steps/mm. In Klipper, the theoretical value would be rotation_distance: 160.
When used as a driven pulley, configure the firmware using the complete reduction ratio. For example, a 20T/80T combination should be treated as a 4:1 reduction, in addition to considering the mechanism connected to the output.
