DIMAFIX Adhesive Spray for 3D Printer Heated Beds — 400 ml
DIMAFIX is an adhesive spray for improving first-layer adhesion on FFF/FDM 3D printers with heated beds. It is especially useful when a print needs additional protection against lifting or warping during printing.
Adhesion activates when the bed is above approximately 50 °C. After printing, as the bed cools towards 40-50 °C, the adhesive effect decreases and the part can be removed more easily without forcing it or using tools that could damage the surface.
Features
- Format: adhesive spray for 3D printing.
- Contents: 400 ml.
- Application: light spray on the print area.
- Use: FFF/FDM 3D printers with heated beds.
- Approximate activation: above 50 °C at the bed.
- Cleaning: water-soluble, depending on the conditions of use.
- Pack: 1 unit.
How to use it
Clean the print surface and apply a light coat only where the part will be printed. Saturating the bed is unnecessary: moderate application helps conserve the product and makes later cleaning easier.
Set the bed temperature according to the filament and printer. DIMAFIX supports adhesion, but it does not replace a clean surface, correct bed levelling or a properly adjusted first layer.
After printing, let the bed cool before removing the part. If residue remains, clean the surface with water when compatible with the bed material and always follow the instructions on the container.
Benefits
- Helps improve first-layer adhesion.
- May help reduce warping on large prints.
- The adhesive effect decreases as the bed cools, making removal easier.
- Localised spraying helps make better use of the contents.
Who is it for?
- Users printing on heated beds who need additional first-layer adhesion.
- Large parts or materials that tend to lift from the surface.
- Users looking for a water-soluble adhesive that is easy to apply.
Who is it not for?
- Printers without a heated bed when the material requires thermal activation.
- Users trying to correct poor levelling or an incorrect first layer using adhesive alone.
- Installations where the product cannot be applied according to the label and with suitable ventilation.
