GT2 20T toothed idler pulley with bearing for 6 mm belt, 5 mm bore

GT2 20-tooth idler pulley for 6 mm belts, with an integrated bearing, aluminium body and nominal 5 mm bore. It is intended for assemblies where the toothed side of the belt must contact a pulley with the matching profile.

Applications and compatibility

It can be used in belt tensioners and routing systems for 3D printers, light CNC machines and custom CoreXY or Cartesian mechanisms. Compatibility requires a suitable 5 mm shaft, screw or spacer and enough room for the pulley diameter and overall width.

The presence of a 6 mm GT2 belt does not by itself make this pulley suitable. Check the bore, tooth count, alignment and whether the smooth or toothed side of the belt contacts the pulley.

Installation

The pulley must rotate freely after tightening. Suitable spacers or supports should secure the shaft without applying excessive lateral pressure to the bearing.
