GT2 smooth 20T-size idler pulley with bearing for 10 mm belt, 5 mm bore

Smooth idler pulley with an integrated bearing and a nominal 20T-equivalent size, designed to guide or tension the back of a 10 mm GT2 belt on a nominal 5 mm axle or screw.

Its smooth cylindrical surface supports the outside of the belt without engaging its teeth. The side flanges help keep the belt within the running area when the complete belt path is correctly aligned.

Installation

The bracket should secure the bearing inner race without pressing against the flanges or rubbing against the rotating body. Use the required spacers or washers to keep the pulley centred relative to the belt path.

After tightening, check that it rotates freely. If the belt continuously rubs against one flange, correct pulley alignment and height before increasing belt tension.

Compatibility

It is compatible with the back of 10 mm GT2 belts, including our wear-resistant coated 10 mm GT2 belt, 10 mm POWGE GT2 belt and other belts using the same profile and width.

When the toothed side of the belt contacts the pulley, use a toothed idler such as the POWGE GT2 20T idler for 10 mm belts with a 5 mm bore.

It can be used in certain CoreXY or CNC tensioners using M5 hardware, but compatibility is not guaranteed simply because the machine uses a 10 mm GT2 belt. Overall width, outer diameter, bracket position and flange clearance must also be checked.

Do not treat it as a direct replacement for a particular machine without comparing these dimensions with the original part or bill of materials.
