GT2 smooth 20T-size idler pulley with bearing for 6 mm belt, 5 mm bore

Smooth idler pulley for 6 mm GT2 belts, with an aluminium body, integrated bearing and nominal 5 mm bore. The 20T designation identifies its reference size, although the contact surface has no teeth.

Applications

It is designed to guide the smooth back of the belt in tensioners and direction changes. It can be used in 3D printers, light CNC machines and custom mechanisms when the assembly provides a suitable 5 mm shaft or screw.

Compatibility checks

• The smooth side of the belt must be the intended contact surface.
• The mount must accept a 5 mm inner diameter.
• The overall width and outer diameter must fit the assembly.
• The pulley must remain aligned and rotate without lateral pressure.

A toothed idler must not automatically be replaced by a smooth one simply because both are intended for 6 mm GT2 belts. Belt geometry and the intended contact side are part of the machine design.
