- Stock: 2
- Model: Pinza-abrazadera
Stainless steel spring clip designed to secure a removable glass, mirror or other rigid build surface to a 3D printer heated bed.
Its narrow design occupies little space around the edge of the build surface and can be fitted or removed without screws. Clamping pressure is provided by the elasticity of the metal body.
Nominal dimensions
- Length: 38.75 mm.
- Width: 12.8 mm.
- Height: 12.75 mm.
- Central front tab width: 4.1 mm.
- Smaller tab width: 2.3 mm.
- Material: stainless steel.
- Weight: approximately 2.6 g.
- Contents: 1 clip.
Compatibility
Suitable for flat glass, mirror, G10, FR4 and other rigid build plates when the combined thickness of the bed and build surface fits the clip correctly.
It may be used on machines such as the Creality Ender 3, Ender 3 Pro, CR-10, Prusa i3, P3Steel and other printers with a moving bed and an accessible edge. Compatibility must be checked for each installation because thickness, underside insulation and nozzle clearance can vary.
The clip should fit without excessive deformation while providing enough pressure to prevent the build surface from moving. No universal maximum thickness is guaranteed.
Safe placement
- Distribute several clips around the perimeter to spread the clamping force.
- Keep the tabs outside the path of the nozzle and bed-levelling probe.
- Check for interference with rollers, covers, brackets and other moving parts.
- Make sure the clip does not press against electrical tracks, solder joints, insulation, thermistors or wiring underneath the bed.
- Do not force an excessively tight clip onto glass, as this may concentrate too much pressure.
After changing the build surface or its thickness, check the Z offset and first layer again.
Other clamping options
- Black screw-adjustable bed clip: allows the applied pressure to be adjusted.
- Set of four reversible metal clips: simple option for distributing the clamping force around the bed.
