0.5 mm Flexible Hardened Spring Steel Sheet for 3D Printing
Flexible hardened spring steel sheet, also known as spring steel plate, for use as the top surface of a magnetic print bed. Its flexible format allows it to be removed from the printer and bent to help release printed parts.
It can be placed on an already magnetised bed, such as an MK52-type bed, or on an adhesive magnetic sheet. Compatibility depends on the sheet size and magnetic force being suitable for your bed; always check the available space and make sure it does not interfere with clips, sensors or the toolhead travel.
Finish and use
- It can be used directly as a print surface when the material and adhesion are correctly tuned.
- It can also be combined with an anti-warping adhesive sheet or 3D printing spray adhesive, provided the top surface is suitable for the intended use.
- The surface may show colour variations, marks or slight stains typical of a raw material.
- The edges are finished after cutting, but the sheet should still be handled carefully.
Size and cutting
The sheet has a nominal thickness of 0.5 mm and can be selected in the sizes available in the product options. A custom size may also be assessed. Cutting is carried out manually, so the final size may vary by approximately ±1 mm from the requested dimensions.
Measure your bed's usable surface before ordering. For custom-cut items, incorrect dimensions supplied by the customer may prevent installation and are not considered a manufacturing defect.
It is for you if: you want a flexible steel sheet for easier part removal and already have a compatible magnetic base.
It is not for you if: you need a complete heated bed, a sheet with a specific coating, or cannot confirm that your magnetic base supports a steel sheet of this size.
