Available Options
Large-series flat washer manufactured from zinc-plated steel. Its outside diameter is considerably larger than that of a conventional flat washer for the same thread size, allowing the clamping force to be distributed over a wider area.
Its geometry follows the dimensional references of DIN 9021 and ISO 7093-1. It is particularly useful with oversized or slotted holes and on sheet metal, plastic, wood, 3D-printed parts and other materials that may benefit from a larger supporting surface.
Main features
- Large-series flat washer.
- Zinc-plated steel construction.
- Larger outside diameter than an equivalent DIN 125 A washer.
- Distributes clamping pressure over a wider surface.
- Available for M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 metric fasteners.
Nominal dimensions
The following measurements are nominal reference values for DIN 9021 / ISO 7093-1. Small manufacturing tolerances may apply.
| Associated thread | Inside diameter d1 | Outside diameter d2 | Thickness s |
|---|---|---|---|
| M3 | 3.2 mm | 9 mm | 0.8 mm |
| M4 | 4.3 mm | 12 mm | 1 mm |
| M5 | 5.3 mm | 15 mm | 1.2 mm |
| M6 | 6.4 mm | 18 mm | 1.6 mm |
| M8 | 8.4 mm | 24 mm | 2 mm |
When should a large-series washer be used?
- When the mounting hole is larger than strictly required for the screw.
- With adjustment or positioning slots.
- On thin sheet metal, plastic, wood or 3D-printed parts.
- When localised pressure on the supporting material needs to be reduced.
- To provide better coverage around a slightly damaged or irregular hole.
The washer can improve load distribution, but it cannot compensate for an inadequate support or guarantee that the material will withstand the applied clamping force. Tightening torque must be adapted when working with delicate parts.
This washer does not work as an anti-loosening system by itself. Its hardness class is not specified, so the compatibility of every component must be checked in structural or highly preloaded joints.
It can be combined with our DIN 912 / ISO 4762 socket head screws and DIN 934 / ISO 4032 hex nuts, always selecting the same metric size.

For quantities prepared by weight, the stated number of pieces may vary by approximately ±5%.
