DIN 933 / ISO 4017 Hex Head Screw in Black-Oxide Class 8.8 Steel
Metric hex head screw with a fully threaded shank and black oxide finish. It is a standard fastener for frames, profiles, brackets, 3D printers, CNC machines and other mechanical assemblies using a nut or tapped hole of the same thread size.

In the M × L designation, the metric size is the nominal thread diameter and the length is measured from the underside of the head to the end of the screw.

Select the same thread size as the nut, insert or tapped hole and check that the length provides enough thread engagement without bottoming out or interfering with other components. Black oxide provides a dark finish and some surface protection, but it is not equivalent to stainless steel in damp, outdoor or corrosive environments.
The product may have a minimum order quantity. Units are counted by weight, so an approximate tolerance of up to 5% is accepted.
