Zinc-plated steel hex nut with metric thread, manufactured according to the DIN 934 and ISO 4032 dimensional references. It is a general-purpose nut suitable for frames, machinery, 3D printers, CNC machines, automation systems and a wide range of mechanical assemblies.
Its hexagonal shape allows it to be tightened using a suitable spanner, socket or torque wrench. The zinc-plated finish provides surface corrosion protection for general indoor applications.

Compatibility and selection
Always select a nut with the same thread diameter and pitch as the screw. The available variants use the standard metric pitches shown in the table.
These nuts are dimensionally compatible with suitable metric screws, including the DIN 933 / ISO 4017 class 8.8 hex head screw when the same thread size is selected. Final mechanical suitability also depends on the screw, engaged thread length, tightening torque and loads involved.
For assemblies exposed to vibration, a lock nut with a non-metallic insert may be more suitable. The fastening system should always be selected according to the actual requirements of the joint.
DIN 934 remains a widely recognised reference, although it is now commonly associated with ISO 4032. For tightly dimensioned or critical replacement applications, check the dimensions of the existing component because different revisions of these standards should not be assumed to be identical in every size.
