The 330 × 330 mm flexible steel sheet with PEI/Ultem offers two printing finishes: a textured face and a smooth face. It sits on a suitable magnetic base and can be gently flexed after cooling to help remove printed parts.

Key features

  • Nominal size: 330 × 330 mm.
  • Substrate: flexible spring steel.
  • Coating: PEI/Ultem on both sides, textured on one and smooth on the other.
  • Installation: on a suitable magnetic surface; the sheet does not itself contain the lower magnet. To add one, see the cut-to-size adhesive magnetic sheet and check the available format, adhesive and working temperature.

Fit and installation on larger beds

Check the 330 × 330 mm physical bed area, clearance throughout the machine's travel and how the sheet is retained. Do not infer fit from advertised build volume or a printer model name. At this size, it is particularly important that the magnetic base is clean, firmly attached and uniformly supports the sheet; a particle between layers can create a high spot. Recheck levelling and Z offset after installation, and verify any inductive probe again.

The existing starting points for this family are 60 °C for PLA, 70–80 °C for PETG/PCTG and 100 °C for ABS. Set the bed according to the filament, machine and actual temperature rating of the magnet and its adhesive. For large prints, also check temperature uniformity and adhesion at the corners; a flexible sheet cannot by itself correct an uneven bed or an unsuitable ABS printing environment.

Use and maintenance

Both sides are printable and leave different underside finishes. Avoid squashing the first layer excessively; PETG/PCTG may benefit from a PEI-compatible release barrier if adhesion is too strong. Let the bed cool before removing and flexing the sheet, without forcing the coating. Clean with methods suitable for PEI and remove debris from the magnetic contact side to preserve even support.

Other sizes in the same family include 300 × 300 mm and 350 × 350 mm sheets; neither is a substitute without checking the required size and clearance.
