M5x16 T-Bolt for 20 Series Aluminium Profile, 6 mm Slot

M5x16 T-bolt for fastening components to 20 series aluminium profiles with a 6 mm slot. It can be inserted through the open slot and turned approximately 90° to position its head across the inside of the profile.

The threaded section faces outwards and allows brackets, plates and supports to be secured with an M5 nut. Its 16 mm length provides additional clearance for thicker accessories or assemblies using washers.

Compatibility

Compatibility with profiles from other suppliers should be verified by checking both the 6 mm slot and the internal channel geometry.

Choosing the correct length

Length should be selected according to the total thickness of the accessory, any washers and the thread engagement required by the nut. For more compact assemblies, use the M5x12 T-bolt for 20 series profiles.

Installation

• Insert the head through the open slot.
• Turn it approximately 90° until positioned across the channel.
• Place the accessory over the M5 thread.
• Fit the corresponding washer or nut and tighten.
• Check the position of the head before final tightening.

Avoid using unnecessary bolt length if the projecting end could interfere with other components.

Alternative mounting options

For assemblies requiring a screw to be inserted from the outside, the M5 hammer nut or M5 sliding T-nut for 20 series profiles can be used.
