M6x16 T-Bolt for 30 Series Aluminium Profile, 8 mm Slot

M6x16 T-bolt for fastening components to 30 series aluminium profiles with an 8 mm slot. It can be inserted directly through the open slot and turned approximately 90° to position its head across the inside of the profile.

Its M6 threaded section faces outwards, allowing brackets, plates and supports to be secured with a compatible nut.

Compatibility

Compatibility with profiles from other suppliers should be verified by checking the 8 mm slot and internal channel geometry.

Choosing the correct length

The M6x16 length provides clearance for accessories of moderate thickness. Final selection should account for the component, any washers and the thread engagement required by the nut.

This family is also available in M6x12, M6x20 and M6x25.

Installation

• Insert the head through the slot.
• Turn it approximately 90° until positioned across the channel.
• Place the accessory over the M6 thread.
• Fit the corresponding nut or washer and tighten.
• Check the head position before final tightening.

Alternative mounting option

To insert the screw from the outside of the accessory, use the M6 sliding T-nut for 30 series profiles.
