M6x20 T-Bolt for 30 Series Aluminium Profile, 8 mm Slot

M6x20 T-bolt for mounting accessories to 30 series aluminium profiles with an 8 mm slot. The head can be inserted through the open slot and turned approximately 90° so that it sits across the inside of the profile.

The 20 mm length provides additional clearance for fastening thicker plates, brackets and supports with an M6 nut.

Compatibility

For profiles from other manufacturers, the nominal 8 mm slot width and internal channel geometry should be checked.

Choosing the correct length

Before installation, account for the thickness of the accessory, any washers and the thread engagement required by the nut. Any projecting thread must also remain clear of nearby components.

This family is also available in M6x12, M6x16 and M6x25.

Installation

• Insert the head directly through the slot.
• Turn it approximately 90° until positioned across the channel.
• Place the accessory over the threaded section.
• Fit the corresponding nut or washer and tighten.
• Check that the head is seated correctly before final tightening.

Alternative mounting option

If the design requires a screw to be inserted from the outside of the accessory, use the M6 sliding T-nut for 30 series profiles.
