400 × 400 mm aluminium-core MK3 heated bed for large-format 3D printers. It is 3 mm thick, operates at 24 V and is rated at approximately 260 W. A roughly 90 cm cable and 100 kΩ temperature sensor are fitted.
Nominal current is approximately 10.8 A and equivalent resistance about 2.22 Ω. Mounting centres are 350 mm; countersunk holes have a 7 mm upper diameter and approximately 3.4 mm through section. Weight is about 1647 g.
Electrical integration
Use a properly rated external DC MOSFET stage, power supply, fuse, connectors and wiring. Do not connect this load directly to a controller output unless that board explicitly supports the continuous current. The 100 kΩ sensor's beta curve is not identified, so verify it before selecting a firmware table.
Installation
- Metal face up and printed black face down.
- Allow for expansion and support the bed without forcing it flat.
- Use non-flammable underside insulation without covering terminals.
- Check a plausible cold reading, enable thermal-runaway protection and perform PID tuning.
