Silicone damping spacer for mounting a heated bed on a 3D printer’s Y carriage. Its semi-rigid body maintains the distance between both components while allowing a limited amount of compression for adjustment.
It may replace conventional springs when a less elastic mounting arrangement with reduced tendency to lose adjustment through vibration is preferred.

Sales unit
The price is for one spacer. A four-point heated bed will normally require four units, but the quantity must be determined from the actual printer design.
Compatibility
Primarily intended for M3 mounting screws or other fasteners whose actual diameter can pass through the 4mm hole. Before replacing springs, check:
- The 18mm height and available Z-axis travel.
- The required screw length.
- Available clearance around the 16mm outside diameter.
- The position of heated-bed terminals, solder joints and rear components.
- That the carriage and heated bed use the same number of mounting points.
It is not a direct replacement for the rigid spacers used by a nine-point MK52 heated bed.
Silicone spacers compared with springs
- Provide less elastic support than conventional springs.
- May reduce adjustment changes caused by vibration.
- Retain limited compression for bed adjustment.
- Do not correct a warped heated bed or replace proper initial levelling.

Installation
- Install every spacer with similar orientation and compression.
- Do not tighten until the silicone becomes excessively distorted.
- Make sure the heated bed remains stable without rocking.
- Repeat bed levelling and first-layer calibration.
- Check the adjustment again after the first thermal cycles.
The product is intended for the normal environment of a heated bed, but no exact maximum temperature is specified. The thermal limits of the remaining assembly must also be respected.
