Replacement PT1000 Bare Head temperature sensor for the Phaetus RAPIDO 2F hotend. It replaces the original sensor while retaining the PT1000 RTD measurement system intended for this hotend.

Features

  • Type: PT1000 RTD sensor.
  • Replaceable Bare Head format.
  • Designed for the Phaetus RAPIDO 2F system.
  • Cable length: 1 m.
  • 2-pin XH2.54 connector.

Compatibility

This replacement is intended for the Phaetus RAPIDO 2 UHF Black Hotend for 1.75 mm Filament. Before installation, confirm that the hotend revision and physical configuration correspond to the RAPIDO 2F system.

Direct compatibility with other RAPIDO generations or every hotend that electrically supports a PT1000 should not be assumed. The sensor housing, cable length, connector and pinout must also match.

Firmware configuration

  • Marlin 2.1.x: type 1047 with a 4.7 kΩ pull-up, 1022 with 2.2 kΩ or 1010 with 1 kΩ. Select the value matching the actual electronics and recompile the firmware.
  • Klipper: sensor_type: PT1000 with pullup_resistor set to the actual input value.
  • RepRapFirmware 3: configure M308 as pt1000 when the controller supports direct measurement.

A PT1000 is not an NTC thermistor or a PT100. A physically matching connector does not guarantee correct measurement, and the previous sensor configuration must not be reused without verification.

Installation

Install the sensor with the machine switched off, disconnected and cold. Handle the sensor head carefully and ensure that it is correctly seated. Check the cold reading and monitor a progressive heating test before operating the hotend at elevated temperatures.
