POWGE RF 6 mm GT2 timing belt, manufactured from nylon-covered neoprene and internally reinforced with fiberglass cords.
The RF range is intended for synchronous transmissions where reduced vibration, friction and dust generation are preferred compared with a conventional POWGE belt. Actual performance also depends on belt alignment, tension, pulley condition and machine geometry.

RF range characteristics
POWGE presents its RF range as an option intended to reduce vibration and dust generation compared with conventional belts. The image reproduces the manufacturer's comparison and should not be treated as a quantitative guarantee for every machine or installation.
Compatibility
It is compatible with 2 mm-pitch GT2 pulleys designed for 6 mm belts, including the POWGE 16T drive pulley, POWGE 20T drive pulley and POWGE 20T toothed idler with a 5 mm bore.
Its dimensions can suit many Creality Ender 3, CR-10 and RepRap or Prusa i3-derived printers using an open-ended 6 mm GT2 belt. Check the required length, fastening system and exact machine version before treating it as a direct replacement.
It may also dimensionally suit CoreXY transmissions and certain 6 mm Voron configurations. If the bill of materials specifies Gates or another particular reference, this POWGE belt should not automatically be treated as equivalent, especially in high-performance machines.
Differences from other belts
This RF version is suitable when a POWGE belt intended to reduce vibration and dust generation is preferred. When this feature is not required, see the conventional 6 mm POWGE GT2 belt.
For basic assemblies, see the standard 6 mm GT2 belt. When surface wear resistance is the main concern, consider the wear-resistant 6 mm GT2 belt.
None of these belt versions can by itself correct a misaligned, seized or incorrectly tensioned pulley.
Installation
- Do not bend the belt through sharp angles.
- Do not twist or crush the internal reinforcement.
- Align the pulleys before applying tension.
- Prevent continuous rubbing against flanges or brackets.
- Use clamps that secure the belt without cutting its fibres.
- Apply only enough tension to remove unwanted play.
Replacing a belt with another belt of the same profile and pitch while retaining the same pulleys does not itself alter Marlin steps per millimetre or the rotation distance configured in Klipper or RepRapFirmware.
Supply format
Each unit corresponds to 1 metre. Multiple units are supplied as one continuous length whenever possible.
