- Stock: 18
- Model: LED-lamp
Ultra-thin, circular and dimmable USB LED lamp with three selectable light tones: warm, neutral and cool. Its compact format and in-line controller make it suitable for illuminating lamps, shades and decorative objects printed in translucent filament, as well as providing auxiliary light for a 3D printer, CNC machine, display cabinet or work area.
Placed behind or inside a part printed from translucent material, it provides a compact light source whose brightness and tone can be adapted to the design. The final appearance will depend on the colour, wall thickness, number of perimeters, infill and light-diffusing properties of the printed part.
Main features
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Format | Ultra-thin circular LED lamp |
| Outer diameter | 59.5 mm |
| Thickness | 8.3 mm |
| Adhesive pad | Circular, Ø40 mm, included |
| Cable length | Approximately 150 cm |
| Connection | USB-A male |
| Light tones | Warm, neutral and cool |
| Controls | Power, brightness adjustment and tone selection |
The in-line controller turns the lamp on and off, raises or lowers its brightness and cycles through the three tones. Warm light can be used for a softer setting, neutral light for general use and cool light to improve the visibility of small details.
Installation
- Choose a smooth, flat, clean and dry surface, away from heat sources and moving parts.
- Before attaching the lamp, check that the 150 cm cable reaches the USB supply and that the controller remains accessible.
- Clean and degrease the area with a product suitable for the surface, then allow it to dry fully.
- Fit the Ø40 mm adhesive pad and press the lamp evenly into position.
- Route the cable without tension, pinching or contact with belts, lead screws, fans, heated beds or hotends.
- Connect the USB-A plug to a suitable USB port or power supply and test power, brightness and all three tones.
Use with 3D printers and CNC machines
It can provide auxiliary lighting on profiles, enclosures, shelves or inspection areas around 3D printers and CNC machines. Its small diameter makes it useful where a light bar would be too large.
It is also particularly useful for making lamps, signs, shades and decorative parts printed in translucent filament. Test the distance between the LED and the printed diffuser before final assembly: increasing this gap will often distribute the light more evenly and reduce visible bright spots.
The USB connection is independent of the machine electronics. Do not connect the lamp directly to a 12 or 24 V output. Powering it from the machine requires a suitable USB output or a correctly rated and installed converter.
Do not place it inside a high-temperature chamber, on a heated bed, next to the hotend, or where it may be exposed to coolant, moisture or conductive swarf. It must not interfere with axis travel.
It is for you if
- You want compact auxiliary lighting powered through USB.
- You want to illuminate a lamp, shade or decorative object printed in translucent filament.
- You need adjustable brightness and a choice of warm, neutral or cool light.
- You have a smooth, flat surface suitable for the included adhesive pad.
It is not for you if
- You need a sealed outdoor light or lighting for a high-temperature chamber.
- You intend to connect it directly to a 12 or 24 V output.
- You require a specified power, luminous flux or exact Kelvin rating.
