10 mm GT2 timing belt with a wear-resistant coating, manufactured from neoprene and internally reinforced with fiberglass.
It is intended for transmissions specifically designed for 10 mm belts. The coating on its toothed surface helps limit surface wear caused by repeated contact with the pulleys.
Features and dimensions
- Profile: GT2 / 2GT.
- Pitch: 2 mm.
- Width: 10 mm.
- Overall thickness: approximately 1.38 mm.
- Tooth height: approximately 0.75 mm.
- Material: neoprene.
- Internal reinforcement: fiberglass.
- Toothed surface: coated for improved wear resistance.
- Format: open-ended belt.
- Length per unit: 1 metre.
Belt finish
The photograph shows the coating applied to the teeth and the smooth back of the belt.

Compatibility
It can be combined with the GT2 16T drive pulley for 9 and 10 mm belts, GT2 20T drive pulley for 9 and 10 mm belts and idlers whose usable surface accepts a 10 mm belt.
The 10 mm width can be used in large-format 3D printers, light-duty CNC machines and CoreXY mechanisms specifically designed for it.
It is not a direct replacement for a 6 mm transmission simply because both use the GT2 pitch. The width between the flanges, fastening points, idlers and available belt path must all match.
Differences from other versions
The conventional 10 mm POWGE GT2 belt provides a branded alternative with conventional construction.
The 10 mm POWGE RF GT2 belt is intended to reduce vibration and dust generation. Selection should be based on the requirements and component quality needed by the mechanism.
In a high-performance machine, this generic belt should not automatically be treated as an upgrade over a branded reference specified by the manufacturer or bill of materials.
Installation and firmware
- Check the usable width of every pulley and idler.
- Do not force the belt between flanges that are too narrow.
- Align the pulleys before applying tension.
- Do not bend, twist or crush the internal reinforcement.
- Check that the coating does not rub laterally.
- Apply only enough tension to remove unwanted play.
Retaining the GT2 profile, 2 mm pitch and the same drive-pulley tooth count does not itself alter Marlin steps per millimetre or the rotation distance configured in Klipper or RepRapFirmware.
Supply format
Each unit corresponds to 1 metre. Multiple units are supplied as one continuous length whenever possible.
Contents: 1 metre of wear-resistant 10 mm GT2 timing belt.
