6 mm GT2 timing belt with a wear-resistant coating, manufactured from neoprene and internally reinforced with fiberglass.
The coating applied to the toothed surface is intended to reduce surface wear caused by repeated contact with the pulleys. It can be a useful upgrade for basic 3D printers or frequently used mechanisms, provided that the pulleys are correctly aligned and rotate freely.

Compatibility
It is compatible with 2 mm-pitch GT2 pulleys designed for 6 mm belts. It can be combined with generic or branded drive pulleys and idlers when the profile, usable width and mounting diameter all match.
Its dimensions can suit many Creality Ender 3, CR-10 and RepRap or Prusa i3-derived machines using an open-ended 6 mm GT2 belt. Check the required length, fastening points and exact printer version.
The wear-resistant coating can be an upgrade over a basic belt, but this product should not automatically be treated as equivalent to a branded reference specified for a Voron machine or other high-performance equipment.
Differences from other versions
The standard 6 mm GT2 belt is suitable for basic assemblies where the additional coating is not required.
When a branded belt is preferred, consider the conventional 6 mm POWGE GT2 belt. The 6 mm POWGE RF belt is intended to reduce vibration and dust generation, which is different from the wear-resistant coating used on this product.
Installation and firmware
- Check that the pulleys rotate without binding.
- Align the belt path before applying tension.
- Prevent continuous lateral contact with the flanges.
- Do not bend or crush the fiberglass reinforcement.
- Use fastening points that do not cut or mark the belt.
- Do not attempt to correct misalignment by increasing tension.
The coating does not alter the belt pitch. When the same pulleys are retained, it is not necessary to change Marlin steps per millimetre or the rotation distance in Klipper or RepRapFirmware for this reason.
Supply format
Each unit corresponds to 1 metre. Multiple units are supplied as one continuous length whenever possible.
