1515 Anodised Aluminium Slotted Structural Profile – 15 × 15 mm, 1 m

Description

Anodised aluminium structural profile with a nominal 15 × 15 mm cross-section and a length of 1 metre. Its compact size makes it suitable for lightweight 3D-printer frames, small mechanisms, enclosures and automation projects.

Four open sides allow compatible nuts, brackets and connectors to be positioned along the profile. This modular system simplifies assembly, adjustment and future expansion.

Compatibility

Compatible with the 15-series nuts, brackets and connectors sold by HTA3D. We check this compatibility with each stock delivery to maintain consistency between our profiles and accessories.

Available accessories include 15 mm sliding nuts with M3, M4 and M5 threads, plus two-way and three-way corner connectors.

The Voron Zero uses 1515 MakerBeam XL extrusions. Although the nominal external size is the same, using this profile in a Voron requires checking the printer revision, BOM cross-section, lengths and end machining.

Guaranteed compatibility applies to HTA3D 15-series profiles and accessories. Components from other manufacturers may use a different slot shape or depth.

Machining and assembly

• Use a suitable aluminium-cutting tool.
• Check that the ends are square before assembling the frame.
• Remove burrs after cutting.
• Do not assume that the centre bore is threaded.
• Square the frame before final tightening.
• Select the joint type and quantity according to the required stiffness.
