Description

Aluminium M5 sliding nut for HTA3D 15-series structural profiles. It is inserted through an open end of the profile and allows components to be secured at any accessible position along the slot.

The M5 thread is suitable for 15-series accessories specifically designed for this fastener size. Final joint capacity also depends on the screw, accessory and load distribution.

Installation

• Insert the nut through an open end before closing the structure.
• Slide it to the required position.
• Select an M5 screw that will not bottom out against the profile.
• Start the thread by hand and check that the screw turns without unusual resistance.
• Tighten progressively and avoid excessive torque on the aluminium thread.
