Description

M3 threaded sliding nut for HTA3D 15-series structural profiles. It is inserted longitudinally through an open end of the profile and can be moved along the slot to the required position.

Its aluminium body provides a compact mounting point for sensors, brackets, electronics and other lightweight components installed on 1515 structures.

Compatibility is verified within the HTA3D ecosystem. Slots in 1515 profiles from other manufacturers may use a different geometry.

Installation

• Insert the nut through an open end of the profile before closing the structure.
• Slide it into alignment with the accessory mounting hole.
• Choose a screw length providing sufficient thread engagement without bottoming out against the profile.
• Start the thread by hand to prevent cross-threading.
• Tighten progressively and avoid excessive torque on the aluminium thread.

This nut is not designed to be inserted directly through the front opening of the slot. A compatible hammer nut may be more suitable for installation on an already assembled frame.
