2020 European-Series Anodised Aluminium Profile, 6 mm Slot – 20 × 20 mm, 1 m

Description

Anodised aluminium structural profile with a 20 × 20 mm cross-section and a length of 1 metre. This size is widely used for 3D printers, small CNC machines, laser engravers, enclosures and automation systems.

Four open sides allow brackets, nuts, plates and other accessories to be positioned along the profile, simplifying initial assembly and future modifications.

Compatibility

Compatible with the 20-series nuts, brackets, plates, connectors and accessories sold by HTA3D. Compatibility is checked with each stock delivery.

It can be combined with our 20 mm sliding nuts with M3, M4 or M5 threads, the 2020 corner bracket and the 6 mm slot sealing strip.

HTA3D 20-series accessories are also compatible with our 2040 structural profile.

Voron V1, V2 and Legacy designs use 2020 profiles with a 6 mm slot. When using this profile in a specific machine, the BOM lengths, holes, threads and machining must be followed.

Do not assume that it directly replaces the V-slot rails used by machines such as the Ender 3 solely because they share a 20 × 20 mm external cross-section. Wheel-running geometry, length and machining must also match.

Machining and assembly

• It can be cut to length using suitable aluminium-cutting tools.
• Remove burrs after cutting.
• The centre bore is not necessarily supplied threaded.
• Any thread must be cut using the appropriate tap and procedure.
• Check diagonals and perpendicularity before final tightening.
• Select the joints according to the required loads and stiffness.
