Black aluminium heatsink for round-body NEMA 14 stepper motors. Its semicircular clip-on design fits around the motor and adds a large finned surface to improve heat transfer to the surrounding air.
It is particularly useful in compact extruders, 3D printers and other mechanisms where the motor operates for extended periods. The heatsink can help lower motor-body temperature, but it does not replace correctly configured current or suitable airflow.

Compatibility
This heatsink is compatible with our NEMA 14 36HS1718 stepper motor with 10-tooth pinion. Its round Ø36.4 mm body provides the contact surface around which the heatsink is fitted.
Before fitting it to another motor, check the body's diameter and shape, confirm that at least 12 mm of axial surface is clear and make sure the fins cannot collide with the mount, extruder, wiring or moving components. The NEMA 14 designation alone does not guarantee identical body geometry.
Installation
- Switch off and completely disconnect the machine.
- Clean the outside of the motor and ensure that no wiring or thick labels obstruct the contact area.
- Open the heatsink only as far as necessary and fit it around the body without bending the fins.
- Check that it is stable, makes good contact and does not interfere with movement, wiring or the frame.
- After the first test, confirm that it has not moved and monitor motor temperature.
