Blue 2×4 mm PTFE tube for guiding 1.75 mm filament in 3D printers and Bowden systems. Its low-friction surface helps filament move between the feeder and hotend when the machine uses fittings for 4 mm outside-diameter tubing.
It is supplied in 1 m per unit lengths. You can select several units to request a longer continuous section, up to 25 m depending on availability and order preparation.

Compatibility and fitting
It is conditionally compatible with paths using 4 mm outside and 2 mm inside tubing for 1.75 mm filament. Check the fitting type, insertion depth and available space before ordering: matching nominal dimensions alone do not guarantee a functional connection.
Cut the end square, remove burrs and insert it fully into the fitting. Avoid very tight bends, crushing and unnecessarily long paths. Then check manual filament movement and perform a slow load test.
In an all-metal hotend, this tube may be used in the upper guide section if the assembly geometry allows it, but it must not extend into the heater block or a melt zone that is not designed for PTFE.
PTFE properties
- Low friction for easier filament guidance.
- Non-stick surface that reduces material build-up.
- Good general chemical resistance.
- A broad material temperature range, which is not a guaranteed working limit for every assembly.

- You need to replace a Bowden section or 4 mm outside-diameter guide for 1.75 mm filament.
- You want to prepare a custom path and cut the required length.
- You want the blue 2×4 mm version.
It is not for you if
- Your fitting requires different inside or outside dimensions.
- You need tubing for 2.85/3 mm filament.
- You need to place PTFE inside a heater block or another area not compatible with this material.
The black 2×4 mm version has the same nominal dimensions and commercial length.
