Compatibility

This replacement is intended for the heating system of the Phaetus RAPIDO 2.0F UHF hotend. Before ordering, check the exact name and revision of the hotend, together with the heater shape and electrical connections.

Direct compatibility with other RAPIDO hotends, including earlier generations and RAPIDO 2 or RAPIDO 2 Plus variants, should not be assumed. This is also not a conventional cylindrical heater cartridge for V6 or Volcano heater blocks.

Electrical requirements

This heater must only be used with 24 V systems capable of controlling a 115 W load. Its approximate current draw at rated power is 4.8 A, so the controller board, MOSFET, wiring, connectors and power supply must have sufficient capacity.

A physically matching connector does not by itself guarantee electrical compatibility or the correct pin arrangement. Do not connect this heater directly to 12 V, 48 V or systems of unknown voltage.

Installation recommendations

Carry out the installation with the printer switched off, disconnected and completely cold. Make sure the element is correctly seated and secured without play or excessive pressure, and protect the wiring from movement, abrasion and hot areas.

After installation, verify that the temperature sensor is operating correctly, carefully monitor the first heating cycle and perform the PID tuning or thermal calibration recommended for the firmware.

Heater power alone does not determine the hotend's maximum temperature or flow rate. These limits depend on the complete system, including the heater block, sensor, electronics, firmware and cooling.
