POWGE GT2 20T toothed idler pulley with bearing for 10 mm belt, 5 mm bore

POWGE GT2 20-tooth idler pulley with an integrated bearing and side flanges. It is designed to guide or tension 10 mm GT2 belts when the toothed side of the belt runs against the pulley.

It is suitable for motion systems requiring a wider belt than the common 6 mm format, including certain CNC machines, large-format CoreXY systems and custom mechanical projects.

Installation

Mount it on a nominal 5 mm axle or screw, usually M5. The bracket and washers should secure the bearing inner race without pressing against the flanges or preventing the pulley body from rotating.

After tightening, check that the pulley rotates freely and that the belt remains centred. The flanges provide additional guidance but should not be subjected to continuous lateral rubbing.

Compatibility

It is compatible with 2 mm-pitch, 10 mm-wide GT2 belts, including the 10 mm fibreglass-reinforced POWGE GT2 belt and 10 mm low-vibration POWGE GT2 RF belt.

This pulley should run against the toothed side of the belt. When the back of the belt is the contact surface, use the POWGE smooth 20T-size idler for 10 mm belts.

It is not automatically compatible with 6 mm belts simply because they share the GT2 profile: its greater width may prevent installation in a narrow bracket. For 6 mm belts, see the POWGE 20T toothed idler with a 5 mm bore.

It is also not a replacement for a motor drive pulley, as the bearing allows the body to rotate freely around the axle.
