POWGE 6 mm GT2 timing belt, made from nylon-covered neoprene and internally reinforced with fiberglass cords.
It is designed for synchronous transmissions and positioning systems in 3D printers, light-duty CNC machines, laser cutters and automation mechanisms using a 2 mm-pitch GT2 profile.

Compatibility
It is compatible with 2 mm-pitch GT2 pulleys designed for 6 mm belts, including the POWGE 16T drive pulley, POWGE 20T drive pulley and POWGE 20T toothed idler with a 5 mm bore.
Its dimensions can suit many Creality Ender 3, CR-10 and RepRap or Prusa i3-derived printers using an open-ended 6 mm GT2 belt. Check the required length, fastening system and exact machine version.
It also dimensionally matches many CoreXY transmissions and some 6 mm Voron configurations. However, if the bill of materials specifies Gates or another particular reference, this POWGE belt should not automatically be treated as equivalent without considering the assembly requirements.
Which version should be selected?
This POWGE belt is suitable when a branded part with a conventional neoprene, nylon and fiberglass construction is preferred.
For a basic assembly, see the standard 6 mm GT2 belt. When surface wear is the main concern, see the wear-resistant 6 mm GT2 belt. For the POWGE range intended to reduce noise and vibration, see the 6 mm POWGE GT2 RF belt.
None of these belt versions can by itself correct a misaligned, seized or incorrectly tensioned pulley.
Installation
- Do not bend the belt through sharp angles.
- Do not twist or crush the internal reinforcement.
- Align the pulleys before applying tension.
- Prevent continuous rubbing against flanges or brackets.
- Use clamps that secure the belt without cutting its fibres.
- Apply only enough tension to remove unwanted play.
Changing belt brand or construction while retaining the same profile, pitch and pulley tooth count does not itself alter firmware steps per millimetre.

Each unit corresponds to 1 metre. Multiple units are supplied as one continuous length whenever possible.
