POWGE RF 10 mm GT2 timing belt, manufactured from nylon-covered neoprene and internally reinforced with fiberglass.
This width is intended for transmissions designed with pulleys, idlers and fastening points for 10 mm GT2 belts. The RF range is intended to reduce vibration, friction and dust generation compared with a conventional POWGE belt.

Construction and GT2 profile
RF range characteristics
The comparison published by POWGE presents the RF range as a lower-vibration and lower-dust option. Results are indicative and may vary according to tension, alignment, speed and pulley condition.
Compatibility
It is compatible with GT2 pulleys designed for 10 mm belts, including the POWGE 16T drive pulley for 10 mm belts, POWGE 20T drive pulley for 10 mm belts, POWGE 20T toothed idler and POWGE 20T smooth idler.
It can also be combined with generic pulleys for 9 and 10 mm belts, provided that the GT2 pitch, tooth count, axle diameter and usable width between the flanges all match.
The 10 mm width can suit large-format 3D printers, light-duty CNC machines and CoreXY mechanisms designed specifically for it. It is not a direct replacement for a 6 mm transmission simply because both use a 2 mm pitch.
For high-performance machines, follow the bill of materials. A 10 mm RF belt should not automatically be treated as superior or compatible when the design specifies another width, brand or construction.
Differences from other belts
The conventional 10 mm POWGE GT2 belt retains the same profile and width without the specific positioning of the RF range.
When a wear-resistant coating is preferred, consider the wear-resistant 10 mm GT2 belt. Selection should be based on the actual requirements of the mechanism and not on belt width alone.
Installation and firmware
- Check the usable width of every pulley and idler.
- Do not force the belt between flanges that are too narrow.
- Align the pulleys before applying tension.
- Do not bend, twist or crush the fiberglass reinforcement.
- Check that the belt does not rub against brackets or flanges.
- Apply only enough tension to remove unwanted play.
Retaining the GT2 profile, 2 mm pitch and the same drive-pulley tooth count does not itself alter Marlin steps per millimetre or the rotation distance configured in Klipper or RepRapFirmware.

Each unit corresponds to 1 metre. Multiple units are supplied as one continuous length whenever possible.
