A printed-parts kit for Voron Stealthburner Beta with the Clockwork 2 extruder, prepared with the selected material, colours and hotend cartridge. It is intended for building or repairing this historical revision of the Voron toolhead without printing its main components yourself.

Stealthburner is not just the extruder: it is a modular system comprising Clockwork 2, the hotend cartridge and the front cooling/shroud assembly. This product contains printed parts; it is not a complete, ready-to-install toolhead.

Voron Stealthburner Beta and Clockwork 2 printed parts in main and accent colours

A Beta reference, not the current final set

The beta0 to beta4 names identify the geometry supplied with this reference. The official project continued to evolve, and current final files no longer use these suffixes. Therefore, do not assume that a final-release part, modern mod or replacement is interchangeable with this kit without comparing files, mounting points and cable routing.

This distinction is especially important when building a new Voron from current documentation. When repairing an existing Beta assembly, first compare the names or shapes of your existing parts.

Printed parts in the base set

Clockwork 2 Beta

  • Guidler A beta3 and Guidler B beta3 in the accent colour.
  • Latch shuttle beta0 and latch beta0 in the accent colour.
  • Cable door beta1.
  • Two- or three-hole chain anchors according to configuration.
  • Main body beta4.
  • Motor plate beta3.

Stealthburner Beta

  • Stealthburner main body beta3 in the accent colour.
  • LED carrier beta1 and LED diffuser beta1 in PETG.
  • Probe bracket beta0.
  • Front and CW2 rear cartridge parts for the selected hotend.

The exact anchor, toolhead and carriage combination changes with the chosen options. X-carriage parts are only added when one of the carriage variants is selected.

Configuration options

Option Use Required check
MGN12 carriageVoron 2.4 or Trident with a matching carriagePrinter revision, rail, belts, probe and carriage mounting pattern.
MGN9 carriageLegacy Voron builds using the former MGN9 carriageMGN9 files are listed as superseded in the current repository; do not choose them by default for a new build.
SW carriageVoron SwitchwireUse the carriage, belt path and printer-specific parts from the Switchwire manual.
DragonDragon ST, SF or HF with compatible rigid mountingRemove the groove-mount adaptor and use the correct rigid mounting points.
BMO / BMS6 / BMS7Specific cartridge for each heatsinkCount 6 or 7 fins on a BMS; the two mounts are not equivalent.
Revo Micro / Revo Six-V6 / Revo VoronSpecific cartridge for each familySelect the exact format of the installed hotend.
RapidoStandard RapidoDo not assume compatibility with Rapido UHF or other revisions; they require their own geometry.

Materials and colours

Main parts can be selected in ABS or ASA. Both materials are suitable for functional parts and withstand the environment of an enclosed printer better than low-temperature materials. The listed optical parts are printed in PETG.

Main and accent colours are selected separately. Shade may vary slightly between filament batches. If the chosen combination is not already prepared, the kit is printed after ordering and processing may take up to one week.

What you need to complete the toolhead

Not included: hotend, nozzle, heater, temperature sensor, motor, drive gears, bearings, shafts, spring, thumbscrew, fasteners, fans, LEDs, wiring, toolhead PCB, probe, ADXL345, cable chain, belts or linear rail. The X carriage is also excluded unless its option is added.

Clockwork 2 requires a compact NEMA 14 motor and a compatible reduction gear train. Our 36HS1718 NEMA 14 motor with 10-tooth pinion may be a candidate for geared extruders, but mounting pattern, pinion position, gear mesh, current and available space must all match before combining it with this kit.

For a 24 V installation, cooling can be completed with a 24 V 4010 axial fan and a 24 V dual-ball-bearing 5015 blower. Stealthburner requires the front of the 5015 housing and its mounting ears to be cut down with the official trimming jig; it is not installed unmodified.

When selecting the Dragon cartridge, check the exact variant and rigid mounting before combining it with a Dragon V2 SF or Dragon V2 HF.

Assembly checks

  • Check that the front and rear toolhead parts are marked for the same hotend.
  • With Clockwork 2, the PTFE tube has a reference stick-out of 11 mm above the cartridge; other extruders may require a different length.
  • Bearings must fit without force and the drive gears must align with the filament path.
  • Leave very slight gear play and do not apply more idler tension than necessary, particularly with flexible filaments.
  • Orient the hotend fan so it pushes air into the duct.
  • Follow the printer manual for carriage and belt installation; the procedure differs between Voron 2.4, Trident and Switchwire.
  • Move the toolhead through its complete travel before printing to detect cable tension, rubbing or collisions.

This kit is for you if

  • You are specifically building or repairing a Stealthburner Beta assembly with Clockwork 2.
  • You can identify the hotend, rail and carriage used by your printer.
  • You already have the extruder hardware and want printed parts configured by material and colour.
  • You can follow the assembly documentation and perform the required mechanical adjustments.

This kit is not for you if

  • You need a complete toolhead including hotend, motor, fans, electronics and fasteners.
  • You are automatically building the latest official release and require a final set with no Beta parts.
  • You cannot confirm whether your carriage is MGN12, legacy MGN9 or Switchwire.
  • You intend to install a Rapido UHF or mix community mods without first checking geometry.
