WINKLE Acrylic Primer Spray for 3D Printing — 400 ml

Self-levelling acrylic primer spray for preparing miniatures, models and 3D-printed parts before painting. Its matte finish creates an even base, helps highlight details and can be sanded when a smoother surface is required.

Available in grey, white and black depending on the selected option. Choose the colour according to the paint you will apply and the background effect you want.

How to apply it

1. Shake the can vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
2. Place the part on a stable support; a rotating stand helps maintain an even distance.
3. Spray from approximately 20-30 cm in thin coats, keeping the can moving.
4. Apply 2-3 coats and allow about 1-2 minutes of evaporation between coats.
5. Allow it to dry fully before sanding or painting. The specified drying time at 20 °C is approximately 30 minutes.

The datasheet indicates an evaporation time of approximately 5-10 minutes. Actual results may vary with coat thickness, humidity, ventilation and temperature.

Recommendations

• Work in a well-ventilated area and wear gloves, following the instructions on the container.
• Avoid applying the spray in extreme temperatures or excessively dry conditions.
• Several thin coats help preserve details better than one thick coat.
• Test on a hidden area if you are unsure how the material or subsequent paint will react.

It is suitable as a base for FDM and SLA parts, but surface preparation remains important: remove dust, grease and support residue before priming.
