3DLAC Plus is a concentrated adhesive designed to improve first-layer adhesion in 3D printing. Its 100ml spray-bottle format provides controlled application without using a pressurised aerosol.
It is particularly intended for demanding materials and prints requiring stronger adhesion, including ABS, ASA, polycarbonate and fibre-reinforced filaments. It may also be used with other materials after testing it on the relevant printing surface.
When should 3DLAC Plus be used?
- ABS, ASA or polycarbonate prints prone to warping.
- Carbon-fibre, glass-fibre or particle-reinforced filaments.
- Large parts with a wide base.
- Long prints where loss of adhesion would ruin the job.
- Machines or surfaces where standard adhesive does not provide sufficient hold.
The need for adhesive depends on the printer, material, build surface, temperature and part geometry. 3DLAC Plus cannot replace correct bed levelling, cleaning, Z-offset calibration or first-layer settings.
How to use
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Work with a clean, dry and cold printing surface.
- Remove the build plate from the printer if it is detachable.
- Spray a thin, even layer from approximately 20-30cm away.
- Allow it to dry before starting the print.
- Wait for the bed to cool before removing the part.
- Clean the surface periodically to prevent product buildup.
Because it provides stronger adhesion, start with a very small amount. Before printing a large part, perform a small test using the same material and printing surface.

Compatibility
The manufacturer highlights its use with ABS, ASA, polycarbonate and reinforced filaments, although it may also be used with other thermoplastics. Effective compatibility depends on the material, build plate and coating.
Before using it on smooth or textured PEI, glass, BuildTak, painted surfaces or specially coated plates, check the manufacturer's instructions and perform a small test. Excessive adhesion may make part removal difficult or damage some coatings.
Cleaning and part removal
Allow the bed to cool completely before attempting to remove the print. Do not force the part or use tools that could scratch or chip the surface.
Residue can be cleaned with water and a soft cloth. If the build surface requires a different procedure, follow its manufacturer's instructions.
Safety information
Danger: highly flammable liquid and vapour. Although this is not a pressurised aerosol, it must still be handled carefully around vapours and ignition sources.

- Use with adequate ventilation.
- Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and hot surfaces.
- Do not smoke during application.
- Do not spray onto a hot bed, powered printer or electronic components.
- Avoid breathing the mist and avoid eye contact.
- Keep the container tightly closed, upright and in a dry, ventilated place.
- Store between 5 and 25°C, protected from sunlight and ignition sources.
- Always consult the container label and safety data sheet.
Alternative for general use
For PLA, PETG and other common materials that do not require such strong adhesion, see the standard 3DLAC 400ml aerosol adhesive.
