The BIGTREETECH EBB36 CAN V1.2 is a printhead toolboard designed around 36 mm extruder stepper motors. It centralises the extruder motor, heater, fan and sensor connections and communicates with Klipper through CAN BUS or USB.
This version does not include a MAX31865 interface. Its TH0 input supports 100K NTC thermistors or directly connected PT1000 sensors by selecting the appropriate pull-up configuration on the board.

Compatible sensors
- 100K NTC thermistors on TH0 with a 4.7 kΩ pull-up and no PT1000 jumper fitted.
- Directly connected PT1000 sensors on TH0 using the jumper-selectable 2.2 kΩ pull-up.
This version must not be described as directly compatible with PT100 sensors. A PT100 requires a suitable external interface or the EBB36 CAN with MAX31865.
Compatibility and installation
It can be used in custom printers and Klipper conversions, including Voron, Rat Rig or VzBot-based machines, when the toolhead has a suitable EBB36 mount. Installation requires suitable mechanical adaptation, wiring, power and configuration.
Klipper must be configured with the exact thermistor or PT1000 profile and the TH0 pin for the relevant board revision. A direct PT1000 installation must declare the actual 2.2 kΩ pull-up. Do not copy pins or settings from another board revision without checking the hardware.
The 120 Ω CAN resistor should only be enabled when the board is at a physical end of the network.
