Flexible PVC slot cover strip for aluminium profiles with nominal 8 mm slots. Also described as a sealing strip or flat seal, it covers unused slots and provides a more uniform black finish to the structure.
This version is compatible with HTA3D 30 series profiles and may fit other 30 or 40 series systems when their slot width and internal geometry are equivalent. Each unit contains one metre of strip.

Compatibility
Compatible with the 3030 structural aluminium profile and the 3060 structural aluminium profile available from HTA3D.
It may also fit 40 series profiles and other 30 series profiles using a nominal 8 mm slot with equivalent geometry. A 3030, 3060 or 4040 designation alone does not confirm the slot width.
For HTA3D 20 series profiles, use the PVC slot cover strip for Slot 6.
Installed appearance
The base of the strip is retained inside the slot while its curved upper surface covers the slot edges.
Installation
Clean the slot and identify any sections that must remain available for nuts or other accessories. Insert one end of the strip and progressively press it into place.
Cut it to the required length with a suitable tool. Avoid stretching the PVC during installation because it may subsequently recover its original length and leave a gap at the ends.

Limitations
The strip covers the slot but does not provide a watertight seal or an IP rating by itself. It must not be used as certified electrical insulation, a structural component or a pressure-resistant gasket.
One unit corresponds to one metre. Ordering several units should not automatically be understood as the supply of a single continuous length.
