External L-shaped plate for joining and reinforcing two 20 series aluminium profiles in a flat 90° arrangement. Its five-hole pattern distributes the fastening across the slots of both profiles.
It is manufactured from aluminium alloy and has overall dimensions of 60 × 60 mm. The five 5.2 mm clearance holes have a centre-to-centre spacing of 20 mm and are suitable for M5 fasteners.

Compatibility
Compatible with the 20 series profiles and accessories available from HTA3D, including the 2020 structural aluminium profile and the 2040 structural aluminium profile.
The 5.2 mm holes provide clearance for M5 bolts. Depending on the assembly, the plate can be secured using the M5 hammer nut for 20 series profiles or the M5 sliding T-slot nut for 20 series profiles.
It may fit profiles from other manufacturers when their slot positions match the plate's hole pattern. Check the profile geometry before assuming compatibility.
Joint type
This plate creates or reinforces a flat 90° joint between profiles whose faces are located on the same plane. It is not a three-dimensional angle bracket for connecting profiles located on different planes.
Three holes are arranged along each arm, with the corner hole shared by both rows, providing a total of five fixing points.
Installation
Place the plate over the coplanar profile faces and align its holes with the slots. Install the M5 bolts and corresponding nuts, tighten them lightly and check the angle before completing the tightening process.
The bolt length must be selected according to the plate thickness, any washers used and the available thread engagement in the nuts. In assemblies exposed to significant loads, the strength of the joint should be assessed as part of the complete structure design.
